Yedlin builds medical facility

The Yedlin Company has started construction of new medical facilities for Orthopaedic Associates of Princeton/SportsMedicine Princeton at 9 Center Drive in Monroe Township, New Jersey, vice President Charlie Yedlin has announced. The one-story, 27,000-square-foot brick building is located off Exit 8A of the New Jersey Turnpike.

As general contractor, Yedlin will be responsible for the complete build-out of the 5,500-square-foot office suite and handle the installation of all mechanical systems, including plumbing, electrical and HVAC. The work is expected to take 10 weeks to complete.

The new facility will feature examination rooms, a special wet room for hydrotherapy and pool therapy, and a large exercise area. According to William Hyncik, Jr., SportsMedicine Princeton's director, clients will have use of a wide range of exercise and rehabilitation equipment, including Body Master weights, treadmills and stationary bicycles.

E.J. Hedger is Yedlin Company project manager and Jim Chiego is site superintendent. Joseph Saphire Associates, P.C. of Princeton is the architect.

Orthopaedic Associates of Princeton and Princeton Radiology Associates, which also will open offices built by The Yedlin Company, purchased the building from Matrix Development Group. Carodan Corporation will serve as manager.

Orthopaedic Associates of Princeton/SportsMedicine Princeton will continue to serve clients from its original offices at 325 Princeton Avenue in Princeton Township.

The Yedlin Company also announced that West Chemical Products, Inc., a manufacturer of specialty chemicals, has renewed its lease for three years at 1000 Herrontown Road, a Yedlin Company property. West Chemical Products, the first tenant in the 10-year-old office park, leases approximately 1,000 square feet of space for offices for President Elwood "Woody" Phares II and Financial Officer Bruce Muretta.

West Chemical's products are manufactured in Tenafly, New Jersey, and have a range of applications. They are used by the military and in the mining, petroleum and automotive industries, among others.
