The latest event at the Navy Memorial for the Year of Navy Supply was a presentation by retired Capt. John Jackson on "Messmen and Cashbooks, Supplying the Fleet since 1795." Following Capt. Jackson's presentation, the Navy Food Management Team provided a cooking demonstration that included recipes from "The Cookbook of the U.S. Navy" circa 1940.
