None but the Brave (BBC2, 2.00pm - 3.45pm)

Drama, starring Frank Sinatra and Clint Walker. During the Second World War, after an aerial dogfight, an American plane crash lands on an island in the Pacific, but the island is already occupied by a shipwrecked Japanese unit. The American pilot is at odds with a gung ho junior officer; the radio is in pieces and the Japanese have control of fresh water. The American and Japanese unit commanders, must deal with the growing distrust and tension between their men (1965)


Calamity Jane (TG4, 3.40pm - 5.35pm)

Musical, starring Doris Day and Howard Keel. Rootin' tootin gal Calamity Jane is a crack shot with a gun, but is a laughing stock in the eyes of the dashing Wild Bill Hickok. She is too busy fighting Indians and cracking a whip to pay mind to such girlie whatalls as dresses and perfume. However, all that changes after a boast sends Jane to Chicago, where she 'persuades' actress Katie Brown to take to Deadwood's stage (1953)


Wrath of the Titans (TV3, 5.10pm - 7.15pm)

Fantasy adventure, starring Sam Worthington and Rosamund Pike. Trying to live a quiet life as a village fisherman, Perseus is recruited to join a battle for supremacy between the Gods and the Titans who spawned them. Enlisting the help of the warrior Queen Andromeda, Poseidon's son and the fallen god Hephaestus, Perseus embarks on a quest into the underworld to rescue his father, overthrow the Titans and save mankind (2012)


Super Buddies (RTE Two, 5.50pm - 7.20pm)

Action, with Trey Loney and John Ratzenberger. When the five puppies stumble upon the Five Power Rings of Inspiron (alien artefacts abandoned on Earth 16 years ago), they all develop super powers, and are enlisted in Captain Canine's battle against the evil Darkon alien Commander Drex.

Ben Stiller stars in The Watch Captain Canine has to train them very quickly indeed - for Commander Drex is headed back to earth, and who is hell-bent on destroying the planet (2013)


Dead Man Down (TV3, 10.00pm - 12.10am)

Action, starring Colin Farrell and Noomi Rapace. Victor, a professional killer and the right-hand man to an underground crime lord in New York City is seduced and blackmailed by Beatrice, a crime victim seeking retribution. Their chemistry and intense relationship leads them to execute a violent and cathartic plan for revenge (2013)


Budawanny Anna Mouglalis stars in Coco Chanel & Igor Stravinsky (TG4, 10.30pm - 12.00am)

Drama, starring Donal McCann and Margaret Fegan. After receiving a copy of a book that is in the process of being made into a movie, a bishop recalls a tale of illicit romance between a young woman, Marian, and a priest. Marian 'falls' from the boat and is brought to the priest's house. At the priest's house, she is ill and is cared for by a doctor and the priest. While saying mass, the priest remembers a meeting with the woman. Marian recovers and begins to take on the role of housekeeper. When pressed by the priest about what happened on the boat, Marian says that she panicked, though they both recall their earlier liaison (1987)


The Watch (Channel 4, 10.35pm - 12.40am)

Action, starring Ben Stiller and Vince Vaughn. After his store's watchman is murdered, Evan along with his neighbours and friends form a neighbourhood watch. But when they accidentally discover that their town has become overrun with aliens posing as ordinary suburbanites, they have no choice but to save their neighbourhood - and the world - from total extermination (2012)


Coco Chanel & Igor Stravinsky (BBC2, 12.15am - 2.05am)

Drama, set in 1920s Paris, starring Anna Mouglalis and Mads Mikkelsen. A passionate affair between two creative giants begins after French couturiere Coco Chanel invites the destitute Russian composer to her villa, which results in a period of great artistic achievement for both artists (2009)
