YOU'RE PANTS; Apprentice big mouth Philip fired after he flirts with Kate.
PANTS Man Philip Taylor got the boot from The Apprentice yesterday after flirting with fellow contestant Kate Walsh.
Boss Sir Alan Sugar told the estate agent his bravado and attitude would not fit into his organisation.
Taylor now fears his legacy from the show will be Pants Man, the character he devised for an advertising campaign.
This week's task on the BBC1 show saw candidates travel to Liverpool and Manchester, where new inventors pitched their products to each team.
Flirting with Walsh, Taylor cheekily said: "I'd buy anything off her." But the 29-year-old, from County Durham, had blazing rows with rival Lorraine Tighe, who was project manager for Ignite.
They lost to Mona Lewis and her Empire team by pounds 1300 sales to pounds 4501.
Jolly And Tighe decided to bring the flirting up in the boardroom.
She told Sir Alan: "I just think they were on a jolly day out to be honest.
"Outside of this boardroom there is a close friendship going on here and I believe, on that day, it did affect their ability." A shocked Walsh responded: "It's a cheap tactic and it's completely untrue." But Sir Alan told Taylor: "Your bravado and attitude isn't going to fit in my organisation.
You're fired!" Visibly crushed, the tearful estate agent stormed out of the boardroom.
Later, he said: "I think they'll remember me - but unfortunately, they'll also remember Pants Man."
