YOKOHAMA NAMES NEW VICE PRESIDENTS TO OPERATIONS AND MARKETING POSTS

 FULLERTON, Calif., Dec. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Yokohama Tire Corp. (YTC) today announced the appointments of Gilbert Marriott as vice president, operations, and Craig Kelley as vice president, marketing, effective Jan. 1, 1993.
 In his new position, Marriott will be responsible for operations, credit, purchasing, M.I.S. and environmental health functions on behalf of YTC. He began his career with Bridgestone U.S.A. Inc. in 1981 and held a succession of positions, culminating as executive director, administration for the Bridgestone/Firestone Brand. Marriott will report to Yoshimichi Hanabusa, president and chief executive officer of YTC.
 Kelley brings more than 15 years of tire industry experience to YTC. As vice president, marketing, he will be responsible for the development of marketing strategies, new products, advertising, motorsports and public relations activities.
 Kelley started his career with Bridgestone U.S.A. Inc. in 1975 and held a series of marketing and sales positions, most recently executive director, marketing for Bridgestone/Firestone Brand. Kelley will report to Koin (Ken) Suzuki, executive vice president of YTC.
 Yokohama Tire Corp. is headquartered in Fullerton and is the U.S. sales and manufacturing subsidiary of Yokohama Rubber Co. Ltd. Yokohama produces and markets a complete line of tires for high performance, light truck, passenger car, truck and bus, and off-road mining and construction applications.
