HIBS boss John Hughes has ordered his troops to adopt the Dutch brand of football so they can progress in Europe.

Yogi is a massive fan of the game in Holland and would love to see his players winning matches in an entertaining manner.

The Easter Road outfit face Slovenians NK Maribor in the Europa League third qualifying round first leg on Thursday after finishing their preparation with a 10-day stay in Holland.

The Hibees faced Eredivisie teams Heracles, Nijmegen, Ado Den Haag and Vitesse Arnhem and Hughes (right) has been pleased with the feedback from those games.

He said: "In Europe we need to play with a style of football that we've seen in Holland.

"After we faced Nijmegen they were saying we played like a Dutch team. We're halfway there but in the game against Den Haag they gave us the runaround a wee bit."
