YESTERDAY'S HIGHLIGHTS.

?The best finish of the day came in the bumper at Worcester, where Oscar Rose cruised through the race and was done at 1.35 on Betfair when taking it up in the home straight, but she was worn down in the final strides by Libby T Valance, who was matched at 16, and Raveloe. ??Jonathan Moore, who rode Libby T Valance, was again seen to good effect in the 2m7f novice hurdle. The two strong travellers Preseli Rock (1.5) and Minella Treasure (1.33) found a lot less than had looked likely, leaving the finish to be fought out by Buckskin Boulta (1.11) who just failed to hold off the Mooreridden Sweetlittlekitty. ??As expected, they tended to aim for the stands' side in the home straight at Catterick, although Sherman McCoy stayed in the centre and was backed at 1.41 before finishing a neck runner-up to Fillydelphia in the 1m4f handicap. In the 6f handicap, Betty Boo, who raced towards the centre, was matched at 1.04, but rail-hugging Bold Spirit (28) edged it.
