YAYA HAS TO MAN UP.

Byline: JOHN CROSS

MANUEL PELLEGRINI believes Yaya Toure can give Manchester City a huge title lift - but admits they cannot afford any more slip-ups.

City have fallen seven points behind leaders Chelsea during the absence of Toure (left) at the Africa Cup of Nations but he returns to face Newcastle.

Toure's fellow Ivory Coast international Wilfried Bony is likely to be on the bench and could make his debut after moving from Swansea. City boss Pellegrini said: "Yaya is always an important player for us. It is important for him and Bony to come back as winners of the Africa Cup.

"We cannot drop more points but if we win we will have the same points as we did at this moment in 2014."
