The American Bar Association (Chicago, IL) has published The Year
2000 Problem and the Legal Profession: Managing The Risk, a volume that
includes information on potential Y2K issues and problems and their
suggested solutions. Described as a supplement to Risk Management:
Survival Tools for Law Firms, published in 1995, the new volume is
designed to help law firms assess its level of risk, improve client
relations and avoid mistakes. Part I of the book provides basic
information and descriptions on Y2K problems. Part II includes a
questionnaire designed to help firms identify specific Y2K compliance
problems and Part III includes answers and solutions for those problems
identified in Part II. The publication costs $30.
