 XSCRIBE CORP. ACQUIRES ALL RIGHTS TO NEW PRODUCT LINE
 SAN DIEGO, Sept. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Xscribe Corp. (NASDAQ: XSCR)


announced today that it has acquired all rights to a new product line of document transport devices and high-speed scanners from DSK Technology Inc., located in the Los Angeles area. The new document transport products increase efficiency and productivity by automating the process of feeding documents into micrographic and electronic imaging devices. The new scanner is a compact, fairly lightweight and very rugged machine designed to create high-quality electronic images for large volumes of different-sized documents. Xscribe intends to market these new products through a new Xscribe subsidiary, U.S. TranScan Technologies Inc.
 Xscribe also announced that three principals of DSK, George Suffern, Edward Kraemer and Richard Burrus, will join U.S. TranScan Technologies Inc. and continue to develop, manufacture and sell micro-imaging products. These gentlemen collectively have more than 50 years of experience in the micro-imaging marketplace.

 Xscribe Corp. designs and markets high-technology software and hardware products for legal professionals, including computer-aided transcription systems for court reporters and realtime captioning systems for the hearing impaired. Xscribe's wholly owned subsidiary, U.S. Micro-Imaging Inc., provides micrographic services to a wide range of customers, including attorneys and financial institutions.
