       XEROX FINANCIAL SERVICES SELLS HIGHLINE UNIT TO HLS, INC.
    NORWALK, Conn., Nov. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Xerox Financial Services, Inc., has sold Highline Financial Services, Inc., formerly a subsidiary of Xerox Credit Corporation, to HLS, Inc., a privately held corporation. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
    HLS, Inc., a newly formed company, consists of the prior management of Highline.
    Highline, based in Boulder, Colo., specializes in operating leases for manufacturers and distributors of high technology equipment, primarily computer peripherals and medical equipment.
    This sale is consistent with the previously announced Xerox strategy of exiting the third party financing and leasing business.
