 XEROX ELECTS NEW OFFICERS, NAMES MEMBERS OF
 CORPORATE OFFICE IN STRUCTURE CHANGE
 STAMFORD, Conn., Feb. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Executives involved in the major changes in the organizational structure of Xerox Corporation's (NYSE: XRX) document processing business were named today.
 A. Barry Rand was elected an executive vice president of the corporation and Mark B. Myers and Allan E. Dugan were elected senior vice presidents. All three will join Paul A. Allaire, chairman and chief executive officer, and Wayland R. Hicks, executive vice president, in the newly formed corporate office responsible for leadership of the company.
 In the new Xerox structure, Rand and Hicks, plus a yet-to-be-named official, will serve as operations executives. Each will be responsible for one of the three geographically designated customer operations units and a number of the just-formed nine document processing business divisions.
 Supporting the business divisions, Myers will head corporate research and technology and Dugan will be responsible for corporate strategic services, which includes manufacturing and supply activities.
 Rand, 47, has been with Xerox since 1968. He was elected a corporate vice president in 1985 and was named president of the company's United States Marketing Group and a corporate group vice president with headquarters in Rochester, N.Y., in 1986. His office will be in Stamford.
 Myers, 53, has been with the company since 1964. He became a corporate vice president in 1989 and assumed his most recent position as vice president of the Xerox Corporate Research Group in 1990. His office is in Stamford.
 Dugan, 50, joined Xerox in 1990 after 23 years in manufacturing and engineering management with AT&T. He has been a corporate vice president and senior vice president of the Xerox Development and Manufacturing group and general manager of worldwide manufacturing operations, with offices in Webster, N.Y.
