XEROX ANNOUNCES RECYCLED THERMAL FAX PAPER
DESIGNED TO REDUCE WASTE, ENHANCE COMMUNICATION
ROCHESTER, N.Y., April 22 /PRNewswire/ -- A premium recycled thermal fax paper which exceeds Environmental Protection Agency guidelines for recycled printing and writing paper was announced today by Xerox Corporation (NYSE: XRX).
Xerox Recycled Fax paper has a guaranteed minimum waste-paper content of 50 percent, including 10 percent post-consumer waste. It can be recycled along with other paper refuse as part of an overall office recycling program.
"As one of the world's largest xerographic paper distributors, Xerox understands the need to reduce the amount of solid waste caused by discarded paper and paper products," said Emerson U. Fullwood, vice president and general manager, Xerox Supplies Marketing and Sales. "This recycled fax paper is our latest effort to meet customer requirements for supplies that help protect the environment without compromising communication standards."
Suited for use in a broad range of thermal-paper fax machines, the paper is manufactured with an anti-curl and anti-static back coating for smooth operation and handling. Its thermal coating is designed to deliver sharp, dark images on bright-white background paper. The paper also has end-of-roll sensor stripes which automatically shut off the machine before it runs out of paper.
Xerox Recycled Fax paper is available in the following lengths and core sizes; a 328-foot roll with either a one-inch or one and one half-inch core; a 164-foot roll with a one-inch core; and a 99-foot roll with a half-inch core.
Retail list prices are $108 per carton for 328-foot rolls; $63 per carton for a 164-foot roll; and $40.75 for a 99-foot roll. Each carton contains six individually wrapped rolls. A variety of price plans are available.
Xerox Recycled Fax paper can be ordered by calling Xerox Supplies Marketing and Sales at 800-822-2200 or faxing to 800-338-7020. Nationwide order taking and availability begins immediately.
