XDR-TB sponsor awareness campaign.

* XDR-TB sponsor awareness campaign BD, in cooperation with TED (technology, entertainment, design)--a group that supports ideas by forward-thinking people--is engaged in a global-awareness campaign on extensively drug-resistant tuberculosis XDR-TB. While multiple drug-resistant forms of TB have been a problem for some time, a more recent trend is the emergence of XDR-TB, where patients do not respond to first- and second-line treatments.
