XBT Holding unveils takeovers in Luxemborg, Singapore.
8 August 2012 a[euro]" US-based telecom services company XBT Holding Ltd announced today it had bought Luxembourga[euro](tm)s biggest web hosting provider Server.lu and Sinaporean peer 8 to Infinity Pte Ltd in June and July, respectively.
With this move, XBT is boosting its global offerings substantially, the buyer said, adding that its infrastructure, global network and collaborations will enhance business processes for both of the acquired entities, thus improving their efficiency.
The US company, which is the creator of the Webzilla web hosting business, said further that its analysts project a 100% annual growth for both firms. XBT also noted it expected to continue aggressive expansion this year with a number of takeovers in Europe and Asia.
XBTa[euro](tm)s CFO Rajesh Kumar Mishra stated that the company had acquired these firms as they would help it make use of a growth opportunity in India and Hong Kong. He added that the hosting business in Asia is not yet reaching the standards of the US and Europe.
The companya[euro](tm)s Webzilla group traffic jumped by 150% and its global organic revenue growth surpassed 96% last year.
