X Factor Cheryl is lost for words.
JULY The X Factor judging panel were in Edinburgh this month. Mel B said she loved Auld Reekie - or Louis Walsh to give him his full name.
Meanwhile, Cheryl said Simon Cowell was right to sack her from the US X Factor and that she "wasn't well in the head". It's true, at times she didn't know who she was. Much like all the Americans that tuned in.
Cheryl also married Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini. She spent three months deciding to take his name. And plans to spend the next six months learning to spell it. It can't be easy though, getting married to someone with a daft accent where English is only a second language. But I'm sure Jean-Bernard will cope.
Then of course there was the epic festival of sport - the Commonwealth Games. I was fortunate enough to be hosting the warm-up for the big gig. Presumably they wanted to put the Common into Commonwealth.
Incidentally it's now going on my CV that I've supported Rod Stewart, Susan Boyle, The Queen and 71 Scotty dogs.
DECEMBER The Edinburgh Playhouse apologised after accidentally sending out porn DVDs. They want to make it clear that you can't actually pay to see people having simulated sex in an Edinburgh theatre. Well, unless the Fringe is on.
And our old pal Madonna has just returned from a trip to Malawi, where she met the president and paid a visit to an orphanage. It's still unclear why she went there at this time of year. Presumably Christmas shopping. A massive year for Scotland. Wha's like us? Here's to a belting 2015.
