Worried over peaks & trots.

Much as I've been enjoying this year's Strictly Come Dancing, I'm a bit worried it may have peaked too soon.

For instance, it's unlikely we will see anything to match the beauty and emotional punch of Rose and Giovanni's Titanic-themed foxtrot (pictured) last Saturday night.

It's also doubtful we will witness a spectacle as hilarious as Aljaz's Shrek outfit, which, presumably, made good use of Max George's Homer Simpson fake belly from last year.

As for same-sex duo John and Johannes, while their pirate paso was undoubtedly a stormer, should the judges - with their worryingly erratic paddles - really have been dishing out a 39 so early in the competition?

Not only does it leave little room for improvement, it also opens the BBC up to conspiracy theorists. I mean, I'm fairly sure no "Protect them from the bottom two at all costs" memo has gone round.

We all know how people like to talk though.
