World Economic and Financial Surveys

The October 2013 issue of the International Monetary Fund's World Economic Outlook presents the latest results from the IMF's ongoing surveillance of member nations' economic developments and policies, developments in international financial markets, and the global economic system in general. It includes projections for important global economic trends and national economic conditions in 2014. This issue highlights the continued gradual strengthening of advanced economies in 2013, and a slowdown of heretofore very robust rates of growth in developing economies during the same period. Readers are referred to a larger compilation of data from the WEO database than is included in this report, available on the IMF website.
