World's First Video Garage Door, New Booth Show Amarr's Style at International Builders' Show.

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- Expressing style is important to Amarr Garage Doors. The company has become one of the leaders in the garage door business because of its many stylish innovations over the past several years.

That style takes on a new flair next week (Jan. 13-16) at the International Builders' Show at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL when Amarr unveils its new trade show display (Booth #W7309) -- complete with what the company believes is the world's first video garage door.

The new booth offers many stylish elements, including a 20-foot high tower, a faux roof and catwalk -- but perhaps the most expressive item in the booth is the video garage door. Eight video monitors in the center of the door will show a continuous display of product, lifestyle photos, and artistic images.

"This new display will help Amarr convey the message that style is an important influence in everything we do," said Teresa Lowry, Amarr's Director of Marketing. "The first video garage door will definitely be a highlight and we feel it will draw even more attention to this already spectacular booth."

With the new display, Amarr has the ability to show nine different models of doors. At this show, five doors from Amarr's popular Classica Collection(TM) steel carriage house doors will be showcased, including a new three-layer model. The booth also features a reception counter, two internet work stations, a sample wall, and a second floor conference room. (Note to Editors: downloadable renderings of the booth are available at http://www.amarr.com/press/)

Amarr was established in 1951 by Abe, Morris, and Herb Brenner in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Quality products and loyal customers have allowed Amarr to expand steadily during the past 50 years, making it one of the top four garage door manufacturers in the country. Amarr manufactures a complete line of sectional overhead garage doors for both the residential and commercial market in its Lawrence, Kansas, Whitehouse, New Jersey, and Monterrey, Mexico, manufacturing facilities. Its doors are sold worldwide by independent dealers and distributors who receive service from Amarr's 59 company-owned distribution centers located throughout the United States, Mexico, Canada and Hungary.
