The workshop aims at helping the participants to discover their inner self through various artistic tools, according to the event's official description. Self-expression through art is considered to be an introduction to psychotherapy. Its main idea is based on following various artistic means such as music, painting, drama and sculpture to help replace negative energy with positive energy, improving emotional, mental and physical health. Art therapy assists people to understand their personal problems in the most subtle way and it does not require extraordinary talents. Additionally, artistic activities give people a sense of satisfaction which helps them to gradually get over depression and sadness. Through the workshop, participants will be able to release all the stress they store in their minds and bodies in a creative way, helping them to figure out the negative impact of everyday struggles on their health and performance. Being a specialist, Mohamed will realize where each participant stands and will help him/her accordingly.
