Cameron and Panovic present students, academics, and researchers with a comprehensive examination of the theory and practice of written discourse analysis. The authors have organized the twelve chapters that make up the main body of their text in three parts devoted to the preliminaries, approaches, and applications of written discourse analysis. Individual chapters are focused on writing, technologies, and media, the difference between speech and writing, discourse and discourse analysis, and a wide variety of other related subjects. Deborah Cameron is a faculty member of Oxford University in the United Kingdom. Ivan Panovic is a faculty member of Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
