Jeffrey Holmes, founding principal and leader of Woods Bagot's New York studio, has been promoted to director and member of the firm's global board.
Prior to joining Woods Bagot, Holmes led the studio at Skidmore, Owings and Merrill (SOM) responsible for the design of numerous iconic high-rise projects, including One World Trade Center, Time Warner Center and the Mortimer B. Zuckerman Research Center at Memorial Sloan-Kettering.
He also led the design efforts for the redevelopment of Pennsylvania Station, the new Moynihan Station, as well as the Hudson Yards bid by Brookfield Properties.
His work has won numerous awards, including three Chicago Athaeneum American Architecture Awards, an Award of Merit from the NY Chapter of the American Institute of Architects and a New York City MASterwork Award for Best New Building.
