Women teachers from FG Cantt Garrison protest against Army Officers.

ISLAMABAD, June 17, 2011 (Frontier Star): The honorary women teachers of FG Cantt Garrison Wah Cantt protested against the unjust and discriminatory conduct of the Army Officers. These women teachers were protesting against the discriminatory demeanour of the Army Officer, who running Army public school here outside the Parliament House. Teachers pointed that they are not getting salaries according to the governments rule rather they are receiving threats of removal from their jobs. Despite we have been working in these schools for more than 20 years. They demanded to the President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani to take immediate notice of the issue while all honorary teachers should be regularized. Meanwhile, former Federal Law Minster Babar Awan also joined the protest to express his solidarity with teachers while he assured them that he will talk to the PM and President to resolve their issues on first priority.
