Women can! 2014: first conference promotes strategies.

In honor of Women's History Month, the women of the Arkansas State Chamber/AIA Leadership Arkansas program and Arkansas Business presented the inaugural conference Women Can! 2014, "Empowering the Professional Woman:' This was an opportunity for professional women from around the state to come together for leadership strategies, career empowerment, professional development and networking. This event reached some 500 women statewide with the messages behind effective leadership through personal branding, negotiating skills, mentorship/sponsorship, management skills, small business development, and politics to name a few.

Women Can! 2014 provided attendees the opportunity to not only to hear and learn from nationally-recognized experts as well as successful professional women from right here in Arkansas.

Women Can! 2014 was made possible by the sponsorships of Arkansas Business, Martin Wilbourn Partners, Nucor, AT&T, ARcare, Canon, Hutchinson Financial and the University of Arkansas Sam M. Walton College of Business.
