Woman found dead in flat.

A MURDER inquiry has been launched after the death of 25-year-old Katie Rourke, whose body was found in a flat in the Govan area of Glasgow on Wednesday evening.

Police Scotland Detective Chief Inspector Allan Burton said: "Officers have been conducting door-to-door inquiries and we are gathering and reviewing CCTV footage to gain additional information as part of this ongoing investigation."

It is understood officers are following a positive line of inquiry.

The family of Ms Rourke, who was from near Dundee, have been informed and a report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.
