Woman died after fall.

A PENSIONER died as a result of a fall at her home, a Teesside coroner has ruled.

Asheba Tindle, an 88-year-old widow who lived with family on Cambridge Terrace, High Clarence was helped by her son John after the accident on August 15 and an ambulance was called.

But Teesside Coroner's Court was told Mrs Tindle, who had several medical complaints, died as a result of suffering a fatal haemorrhage of the spleen in the fall.

Teesside Coroner Michael Sheffield recorded a verdict of accidental death.
