Woman arrested at Cairo airport with cocaine and ecstasy.
The Egyptian anti-narcotics police at Cairo airport have arrested an Egyptian-born British woman, after they discovered 36 grams of cocaine and 100 ecstasy tablets.
The woman, aged 43, had arrived at the airport on an EgyptAir flight from London, UK. The police - acting on a tip-off - arrested the woman and charged her with the possession of an illegal substance.
The woman has allegedly confessed to planning to sell the drugs in Egypt, reported Al-Bawaba.
