Woman airlifted from crash scene.

A 46-YEAR-OLD woman escaped serious injury when her wing mirror smashed through her van window in a road crash in the Midlands.

The woman was driving her small delivery van on Kinver Lane, in Caunsell, Kidderminster, when she was involved in a crash with another van.

The force of the collision caused her mirror to snap off and fly threw her side window.

A spokesman from the Air Ambulance crew said: "She had minor head and neck injuries and was airlifted as a precautionary measure."
