Byline: DAMIEN FLETCHERA WOMAN accused of attacking a frail shopper in a "trolley rage" incident has been arrested on suspicion of manslaughter.
Retired Michael Buckley, 60, was allegedly hit in a crammed Marks & Spencer store in Bromley, South East London, just days before Christmas last year.
He suffered a broken hip and wrist but his condition deteriorated in the Princess Royal University Hospital. He died there earlier this month.
Witnesses told police at the time that the woman shoved Mr Buckley with her trolley, knocking him down.
The 30-year-old, who was first arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm, answered bail on Tuesday, where she was arrested on suspicion of manslaughter.
Following the death of his model wife Irene two years ago Mr Buckley, of Forest Hill, South East London, lived alone with his macaw Max.
The suspect has been bailed until August.
