EXCITING duo Dominic Iorfa and Ethan Ebanks-Landell have spoken of their delight at being offered new deals at Wolves.
Both defenders are graduates of the Wolves Academy and have enjoyed their first sustained spells in the first team this season.
The deals tie Ebanks-Landell, 22, and Iorfa, 19, to the club until the summer of 2017, with a further year's option in Wolves' favour.
Ebanks-Landell made his Wolves debut in the 1-0 Capital One Cup defeat at Morecombe in August 2013 and went 2013 and went A on to make ten appearances last season. He already has nine games under his belt this term and became a fixture at full-back before suffering a hamstring injury.
"I am really pleased to have signed the new contract," he said. "I've been at the club in the Academy since I was eight. It's a good show of faith from the gaffer to put me in the team.
"I had a chance last year in League One and then came out and the team did so well that I couldn't get back in.
"This season we had a little rough patch and that's sometimes what it takes for a defender to get in."
An excellent passer of the ball and technically strong, Iorfa has slotted seamlessly into the side after making his first start in the 2-1 defeat to league leaders Bournemouth last month.
The towering teenager has started every match since, with Wolves going five unbeaten.
He said: "I'm happy to commit myself to Wolves. I'm just looking to push on now. To have made my first appearances and also now got a new contract shows I've made good progress."
