With acquisition of CFLR, West adds to its California offerings for attorneys.

Eagan, Minn.-based West, a Thomson Corporation business, recently acquired California Family Law Report Inc., the overall market leader in the California family law niche for information, software, and seminars.

CLFR maintains close ties to the judiciary and focuses editorial energy on family law legal developments in that state.

Well-known DFLR offerings include DissoMaster, Executioner, Propertizer, Family Law First Alert, California Family Law Report, California Family Law Practice, and California Court Companion.

West will continue to produce and distribute CFLR research materials, as well as make them available on Westlaw, its online research service.

CFLR founder Stephen Adams will continue to serve as a lecturer for the Family Law Refresher Course and the Advanced Family Law Course accredited seminars.

West is a leading provider of integrated information solutions to the legal community. Mike Wilens is president and CEO of West.

Eugene Simonoff and Associates represented CFLR in the transaction, the terms of which were not disclosed.
