Wisdom names a new president.
The company reported that Francisco Sada of Monterrey, Mexico would serve as the company's new president, and Johnny Moore, formerly a Wisdom division manager, has been promoted to the post of vice president sales.
Sada, who assumed his new duties on August 1, succeeds Manuel Rubiralta in the importer's top post. Rubiralta, president of the company since 1986, left Wisdom earlier this summer to join Pepsico in Mexico City.
Sada brings 18 years of experience in international management to his new post. During those years, he has worked in international marketing with the companies of the Monterrey Group - three large conglomerates that represent Monterrey's key industries in chemical manufacturing, steel-making and brewing.
Sada spent 14 years as export director with CYDSA. the group's chemical company, and four years as export director with De Acero, the steel-making corporation.
Wisdom noted that Sada's entry into the industry is fitting, since he is a descendent of Cuauhtemoc brewery founder Francisco Sada, director of the brewery after it was built in Monterrey in 1890.
