Wisconsin Rapids mill celebrates 100 years.

WISCONSIN RAPIDS MILL CELEBRATES 100 YEARS. Stora Enso North America, Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, USA celebrated the centennial of its Wisconsin Rapids mill with a public open house from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 25. Visitors had an opportunity to view a special centennial video and to partake in various tour options. The mill began operations in June 1904 with the world's first two electrically powered paper machines. Today, mill operations currently employ more than 750 people.
