Byline: Richard McNeill

Wirral ....................... 20 Northwich ................ 19 IN LAST week's games Northwich won in the last minute whilst Wirral lost the opportunity to do so and this week the roles were reversed with Northwich failing with a potential match winning kick in the last minute of this game.

With wind advantage in the first half, Wirral scored first with a scrambled try through Craig Harvey after a good kick downfield from Richard MacMillan put Northwich under pressure.

Northwich hit back with a classic centre's try through Hallam, before Wirral regained the lead when taking a quick free kick the diminutive scrum half Joe Murray scuttled through to score in the corner.

Wirral were able to increase their lead with two well taken penalty goals through Craig Harvey. Northwich scored two further tries through Dale and Hallam.
