Wireless video. (Marketplace).

Swedish company Axis Communications has launched the AXIS Camera Explorer for Pocket PC, a software package that allows PDA users running Pocket PC 2002 to receive video from Axis network video equipment. The software receives video over a wireless network access point and has built-in functions to alert users when they are out of range. It automatically resumes contact with the network when the user comes back into range. Users can switch among preset network cameras to monitor multiple sites, and they can scale and rotate images to fit the display. Users who already have a license for AXIS Camera Explorer for PCs and workstations can download the software free from the Axis Web site: www.axis.com. 119
