WinStar Awarded Services Contract by Colgate-Palmolive.
WINSTAR COMMUNICATIONS INC. (NASDAQ: WCII) today announced it has been awarded a services contract by Colgate-Palmolive Company, one of the world's largest consumer products companies. Utilizing its state-of-the-art fixed wireless broadband network, WinStar is providing its cost-effective services to Colgate-Palmolive at its worldwide corporate headquarters in New York City. The financial terms of the contract were not disclosed.

"The deployment of WinStar's cost-effective voice services provides us with a high-quality alternative to traditional phone companies and insures 24x7 connectivity for our corporate headquarters."
