Win show? Fat chance, says Currie; Strictly 2.

EDwinA Currie says she's got a slim chance of winning strictly - because she's the heaviest dancer in the competition.

Last night the former British politician, 64, performed the foxtrot on the BBC1 show with her italian partner Vincent simone, 32.

And Edwina admits her curvy frame meant the ballroom dance was not a pretty sight.

she said: "i have to actually sit on his lap and sway. it looks like a hammer flattening blancmange.

"it's immensely frustrating but i'm determined not to get upset about it."

But the novelist, who had a four-year affair with ex-PM John Major, is still hopeful.

she said: "some couples will stay in because of their personalities, even if they can't dance or because they're entertaining.

"it could well be me. The public like a trier."
