Win a New Home in Irvine, California for Just $200! Second Annual Irvine Public Schools Foundation Home Raffle Now Underway!

IRVINE, Calif. -- Limited Number of Tickets Available; Over 150 Opportunities to Win Cash and Prizes

Raffle tickets went on sale yesterday for a brand new home (valued at nearly $470,000) in Irvine, California. Tickets will be sold to California residents, age 18 and older, for just $200 each.

The 2nd Annual House Raffle is being sponsored by The Irvine Public Schools Foundation (IPSF) to help support a wide range of educational programs offered at public schools throughout the City of Irvine. Last year's event raised $2 million; the goal this year is to raise $3 million.

According to Tim Shaw, IPSF chief executive officer, no more than 15,000 raffle tickets will be sold for a brand new condominium home located within the Lombard Court neighborhood built by Newport Beach, CA-based William Lyon Homes. Lombard Court is situated in the award-winning Irvine village of Woodbury, master-planned and developed by The Irvine Company.

"We are very excited about this year's House Raffle," said Tim Shaw. "We are honored to be partnering with William Lyon Homes and The Irvine Company to make this event a success for students in Irvine. Through IPSF, Irvine public school students enjoy enriched programs in art, science and music, several specialty programs in the middle and high schools, and even restored critical health services. The House Raffle is a fun and very important way to help our students realize superb academic and personal achievement."

Official House Raffle Ticket Request Forms can be obtained online at www.ipsf.net or at The Homefinding Center located at 81 Fortune (next to Dave & Buster's) in the Irvine Spectrum at Irvine, CA 92618. Directions to The Homefinding Center can be obtained at www.irvineranch.com or by calling 866-377-4228. In addition, House Raffle Ticket Request Forms can be obtained through the Lombard Court sales office at 157 Sanctuary at the village of Woodbury in Irvine, CA 92620. Directions to Lombard Court can be obtained at www.lyonhomes.com or by calling 949-654-4511.

Once completed, the Forms must be faxed to 949-265-6417 or mailed to IPSF at 18552 MacArthur Blvd., Ste. 200, Irvine, CA 92612. Ticket sales will close at 5 pm on May 13, 2005 and the raffle will be conducted on June 11, 2005.

Shaw noted that all House Raffle ticket purchases who buy their tickets before March 18, 2005 will automatically be entered into a special Early Bird Bonus Drawing -- a chance to win a cash prize of $10,000. All Early Bird ticket purchasers will be eligible to win the Grand Prize Lombard Court home as well.

In addition to the House Raffle, the fundraiser also will feature 50 additional cash prizes awarded during the raffle on June 11, 2005. These prizes include the following:

2nd Place: one award of $25,000

3rd Place: two awards of $10,000

4th Place: three awards of $5,000

5th Place: four awards of $2,500

6th Place: 10 awards of $1,000

8th Place: 10 awards of $250

Plus, 99 additional prizes, each valued at $200 or greater, will be awarded including vacation packages, airline tickets, a plasma TV and much more.

"Once all 15,000 tickets are sold, the odds of winning the house will be 1 to 15,000 and the odds of winning any of the other prizes will be 1 in 100," said Shaw. "We sold out all of our tickets early last year, so I encourage everyone to purchase their tickets as soon as possible and participate in the Early Bird Drawing."
