Wilrock arranges sale of 4 Upstate buildings.

In a major multi-building sale valued at approximately $1.3 million and arranged by Wilrock National of Buffalo, Inc., CCB Associates has purchased four buildings in Niagara Falls and Lewiston, New York, from the Key Bank of New York N.A.

Richard J. Baumann, executive vice president of Wilrock National of Buffalo, Inc., acted as exclusive agent for Key Bank of New York N.A. The buyer, CCB Associates, is a partnership headed by Niagara Falls investor Frank A. Amendola.

The four properties include the Key Bank Complex on Main Street and Ceder Avenue in Niagara Falls, comprising the 32,000 square-foot, four-story former headquarters of the Permanent Bank of 800 Main Street, and adjacent 2,400-square-footformer Chemical Branch Bank building, the 1,600-square-foot, freestanding Key Bank drive-in at 900 Main Street, and the surrounding parking lots. In addition to the main Cedar properties, the transaction includes Key Bank's branch office at 194 Center Road in Lewiston. According to Baumann, Key Bank has signed long-term leases on the free-standing drive-in at 900 Main Street, its 5,000-square-foot branch office in the 800 Main Street building, and its Lewiston branch office. He added that in addition to Key Bank, the building on 800 Main Street houses the offices of O'Brien & Gere Engineers, and the law firms of Gellman, Brydges & Schroff and Rice Reid Broderick & Wattengel. Because of the building's ample parking, and location opposite City Hall and one block from State Supreme Court, the Amendola group plans to market the building as a center for law, real estate, engineering and financial services firms.
