The 6-foot-4, 200-pound Roberts was the backbone of a stout St.
John's defense that gave up an average of 4.2 goals per game this
season. Roberts helped the Pioneers finish 19-2 before falling to
eventual champion Shrewsbury in a Division 2 Central/West semifinal.
Roberts made life easier for fellow Super Teamer Steven Kerr in net, as
Kerr only gave up an average of 3.61 goals per game. Roberts was named
to the Central Mass. Lacrosse Coaches Association all-star team. Roberts
also starred in soccer for St. John's and was named to the Central
Mass. Soccer Coaches all-star team. Roberts will attend Clark University
and major in business. He is the son of Gina and Brad Roberts of Paxton.
