William J. Waldron III.

William J. Waldron III has been named vice president for the new Equity Investment unit of The Prudential Realty Group (PRG). The announcement was made by Ted Johnson, senior vice president of the company.

Waldron's responsibilities include overseeing Prudential's General Account Equity real estate investments in the Mid-Atlantic and New England regions and managing PRG's finance unit which is responsible for a $3 billion loan portfolio. These are primarily third party loans made to Prudential joint ventures.

Waldron joined Prudential in 1988 as vice president of Finance/Administration where he was responsible for a $3 billion loan portfolio and a wide range of duties including the recruiting and training of PRG personnel. Prior to joining Prudential he spent 16 years in the Real Estate Finance Group at Chase Manhattan Bank.

Waldron graduated from Notre Dame University and received his MBA from Suffolk University. He is a graduate of Delbarton where he serves as an officer of the Alumni Association. Active in the Urban Land Institute and a member of the National Association of Industrial and Office Parks, Waldron resides in Bernardsville with his wife.
