We asked if the four political party leaders had said enough to make you vote for them. We had the worst response ever.

Jack McConnell trots out with the usual, dull, uninspiring talk about how it takes time, but the NHS, crime, schools, roads are all improving, blah, blah, blah. We've heard it all before and we don't believe it - TC, Hamilton.

It's staggering that the first Scottish Parliament in 300 years has failed to catch the imagination of the people of Scotland - MSPs should be ashamed. It's a wake- up call to politicians to connect with ordinary people, living hard lives - JC.
