Wild Goose Brewery increases markets.

In an effort to increase product visibility along the East Coast, the Wild Goose Brewery plans to undertake a market expansion campaign that flies in the face of the conservative approach which characterized the brewery's first three years of operation.

To date, the 25-barrel plant located in Cambridge, MD, has concentrated its efforts on the mid-Atlantic region, establishing a niche in Maryland, Virginia, Delaware, North Carolina and New Jersey markets. However, since February, Wild Goose has spread its wings to include Denver, Chicago, New York, Pittsburgh and Minneapolis, according to president Jim Lutz.

Despite the expansion, Lutz does not forget that the mid-Atlantic remains the backbone of his business. "You have to always remember who brought you to the dance," he said.
