Wide 'Ag' film line can gusset or not.

A three-layer coextrusion line for up to 65-ft-wide agricultural blown film has an unusual option of moving gussets. These are supported from above with a mechanism that occupies only modest space next to the main tower. Installed early this year by the Converting Systems Group of Davis-Standard Corp., Somerville, N.J., the system was built for Hyplast NV in Belgium to make either the full 65-ft width of film with gussets and wind it on 16-ft rolls, or wind narrower film flat without gussets. The line has an 8-in.-diam. main extruder and two 6.5-in. side extruders to process over 4000 lb/hr. Tel: (908) 722-6000 *
