Why smiling Theo Walcott's 'slip' shouldn't cause Evertonians to worry; Blues new boy looks happy and relaxed in his new surrounding after a dozen years at the Gunners.

Everton new boy Theo Walcott was all smiles as he lifted the lid on his first day at Finch Farm.

The Blues [pounds sterling]20million signing from Arsenal posted a video on Instagram (see above) revealing behind-the-scenes footage of his trip to the club's training complex.

Walcott's minute-long montage starts by showing him listening to music as he crosses the recently-opened Mersey Gateway between Runcorn and Widnes en route to completing the formalities of his deal.

He then shows a series of photos of him undergoing his medical and he looks relaxed when posing in Everton's home kit for the first time.

The 28-year-old then displays some mischievous humours as he feigns a stumble while walking down a staircase wearing his studded boots.

Walcott's 'slip' shouldn't lead to anxious Evertonians' hearts missing a beat though -- it's an obvious bit of play-acting that would lead to a booking for simulation if replicated in a Premier League game!

A beaming Walcott then stands for images in front of the 'green screen' and then club sponsors' logos and happily obliges when the photographer asks him for a thumbs up.
