Why is Cardiff Against The Bedroom Tax not courting Plaid Cymru? YOUSAY IN YOUR OPINION.

| IF Cardiff Against The Bedroom Tax wants to be taken seriously, it should not appear so blatantly partisan or perhaps so UK nationalist. Cardiff Against The Bedroom Tax praises a Labour councillor and mentions Labour six times in its letter to the Echo (October 7), but omits key points.

In Scotland, SNP councils were the first to put forward non-eviction stances. Ironically, the very councillor praised by the CABT voted against Cardiff Plaid Cymru's motion against evictions for bedroom tax arrears in March. Unfortunately, Cardiff Against The Bedroom Tax did not lobby the meeting, as it was busy that evening making banners for its demonstration.

As we have stated, the Plaid group is happy to help anybody genuinely opposing the vile bedroom tax. Labour councillors seem to get invited to CABT gatherings, but we in Plaid are still waiting!
