Why are we allowing fiscal haemorrhaging?

I READ that we are not allowed to know at what cost the BBC Wales services are running or how many parochial prigs are in fact viewing. Yet one of the answers to the BBC cost-cutting is right there before their very eyes, that very same service.

All those viewers can of course converse in English and are fully aware that the shawl spinning wheel and pointed hat as well as the mining industry is at an end.

And on the Welsh Assembly, it is costing us money. Money that could be better spent.

So why are we allowing this fiscal haemorrhage to continue and why at the same time as this giant quango have we still got local councils officiating?

More money wasted. Apart from our Government at Westminster we have a second and third tier Government strata in place. We must be utterly asinine in every aspect of common sense. Alan Grainger, Aberbran Road, Gabalfa, Cardiff.
