Why a legal executive?

BECOMING a legal executive and enjoying a career in law is a real possibility for everyone. Whether you are a school-leaver, graduate or mature student, the Institute of Legal Executives (ILEX) can provide a rewarding career structure.

Legal executives are professional lawyers specialising in a particular area of law. Most trainees are in fulltime employment and study part-time by day-release or evening classes, or by taking an ILEX Tutorial College (ITC) Home Study Course, thereby combining both study and examination with practical experience.

Career prospects are excellent. Fellows of ILEX are highly valued lawyers and their salaries reflect this.
