Whortons pay $685,000 for home in Clear Creek.

Jeff Whorton and his wife, Marshawn, founders of the Whorton Group in Springdale, recently purchased a home in Phase III of the Clear Creek subdivision in Johnson.

The Whortons acquired the property at 5137 Turnhouse Circle for $685,000 from HSBC Bank USA N.A.

The bank acquired the property in November 2010 from Robert and Kristen Taylor.

The Taylors bought the European-style home for $1.22 million in October 2005. The seller was Canode Management LLC.

The 7,033-SF, six-bedroom home was built in 2005 and last appraised in 2010 for $1.03 million. It includes formal living and dining rooms, a library and theater and exercise rooms.
