Who will be Miss Chinese Vancouver? Eighth annual pageant takes place December 10.

Who will be the next "princess" to carry on down the blissful path of the Miss Chinese Vancouver legacy and start a new chapter in her life? After countless training sessions, ten contestants of Miss Chinese Vancouver Pageant 2014 are ready to shine onstage at the December 10 finale.

A pageant rehearsal was held at a press conference recently where Vice-President of Fairchild Media Group, Louis Tong, drew one lucky finalist to try on the Champion's tiara.

This year marks the 8th consecutive year that Fairchild TV is hosting the Miss Chinese Vancouver Pageant as a fundraiser for the Canadian Cancer Society. The finale will take place on Wednesday, December 10 at the Vancouver Convention Centre, airing live at 7:55pm on Fairchild TV, www.fairchildtv.com, and through the MCVP mobile app.

The ten contestants met with with the public at an event hosted by MCs Gerald Yang and Cliff Wong. The contestants presented themselves with the theme of 'princess' in mind.
